Analysis: A person familiar with the signing told The Associated Press that Owens is headed to the Bills two days after he was cut by the Dallas Cowboys. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal had not been officially announced. The question now is how T.O. will deal with Trent Edwards, who is only entering his second full year as starter. Owens has made life difficult for quarterbacks in the past and joins an offense that struggled mightily last year.

Analysis: Owens is searching for a new team after being released by the Dallas Cowboys. "There are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell," agent Drew Rosenhaus wrote in a text message Friday to The Associated Press. "I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify these teams at this time. Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner."

Analysis: Cowboys owner Jerry wants the focus on winning, something the Cowboys haven't done in the playoffs since 1996. Owens caught more TD passes than any NFL receiver over the last three years and was a big part of Tony Romo's development. But Dallas went 0-2 in the playoffs with Owens and failed to make the postseason in 2008.
